Since 2022, the members of the NGO "Northern Cultural Capital" have been focused on helping families in need, not only in Chernihiv but also in communities of the region that found themselves in difficult life circumstances, particularly in such villages as: Mokhnatyn, Khalyavyn, Yuriyvka, etc. They also paid attention to the teachers of art educational institutions in Chernihiv.

In 2023, the SUNUA (Support Ukraine now Upper Austria) association, represented by its head Thomas Brunner, and the "PCs for Everyone" association, represented by its founder Peter Bernscherer, transferred used computers, monitors, and components to Ukraine. The purpose of the transfer was to launch pilot educational projects in music and art schools, cultural centers in the Chernihiv and Cherkasy regions, projects aimed at preserving heritage in the cultural and educational spheres. Office equipment was also transferred to the Chernihiv Veterans Center "Heartbeat".

In 2024, as a result of cooperation between the NGO "Northern Cultural Capital" and the conductor from Ogre (Latvia), Atvars Lakstīgala, who is also the head of one of the local music institutions, the Chernihiv music schools received musical instruments.

In 2024, with the support of the world-renowned musician Schiller, who visited Chernihiv in the summer of 2024 at the initiative of his longtime friend manager Vadym Diatlov, the musician financially supported the Defenders who at that time needed expensive medications and were undergoing treatment in a military hospital.
