😍😍😍 FAIRY TALES are created by adults; they have big hearts!
Today, a fairy tale came to life for the children of Chernihiv, all the way from the city of Bremen, Germany. Yes, yes, the very same one from the Bremen Town Musicians!
The children had a chance to hear about the fairy-tale city, practice their English, and simply chat and ask hundreds of questions to the volunteers who had traveled hundreds of kilometers to visit them personally in the border city of Chernihiv. The person who managed to make the Germans fall in love with our city was Olga Berezovska, a researcher and archivist. Since May 2022, she has been visiting the wounded Chernihiv to document the testimonies of civilians about their survival during the city’s siege and the occupation of the region’s villages.
In 2023, Gordon Reichmacher came to Chernihiv to bring aid to hospitals and residents of the Bobrovytsia microdistrict. Thank you!!!
Today, Gordon is in Chernihiv for the second time, along with his friend Stephan Bayer. They came to support the children and bring gifts that would be genuinely useful—smartwatches, so that parents would know exactly where their little ones are. Staying connected is truly important in the realities of our lives! Of course, there were also plenty of sweets and hugs.
