2025 has been another year of full-scale war, in which the NGO “Northern Cultural Studio” continues to live, work, and evolve. For the fourth consecutive year, alongside numerous other associations, “Northern Cultural Capital” has been operating in a reality of constant challenges, driven by an unwavering faith in the power of culture and community!
As a reminder, “Northern Cultural Capital” was founded in 2022 to support and promote the cultural sphere of Chernihiv and the Chernihiv region, consolidate creative initiatives, and create a space for interaction among artists, volunteers, and the community.
In 2025, we continued our collaboration with partners, supported cultural projects, and focused particularly on the “KRYLA” (WINGS) project—a support program for children who lost their parents due to the war. We would like to express our special and immense gratitude to Kateryna Bobrovnyk, Gordon Reichmacher, Stephan Bayer, and Olga Berezovska.
💙💛 Simultaneously, we provided systematic support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine through charitable cultural events and Saturday evenings at the Academy of Ukrainian Music. We thank our guests from Pereiaslav: Valentyn Shutkevych, Igor Kishman, Roman Pawliw, and the Military Music Center of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
