In the autumn of 2022, with the support of cultural patron Anton Artemenko, the cultural and educational project “Academy of Ukrainian Music” was founded in Chernihiv. Its primary mission is to popularize Ukrainian culture for Ukrainians and to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the acquisition of new knowledge and emotions.
In 2024, the NGO “Northern Cultural Capital,” together with Mr. Artemenko, established the “ACADEMY OF UKRAINIAN MUSIC” AWARD on the occasion of the All-Ukrainian Day of Cultural Workers and Folk Art Masters to honor cultural figures who contribute to the development and promotion of Chernihiv. The first laureate was the artist Volodymyr Natalushko.
Tradition is tradition, and in 2025, on the All-Ukrainian Day of Cultural Workers and Folk Art Masters, the laureate of the “Academy of Ukrainian Music” award was chosen to be the veteran, actor, screenwriter, and ideological inspirer of the VETERANS’ THEATER – Yuriy VIETKIN!!!
