On March 4, 2025, in the Chernihiv Regional Philharmonic Center, “Academy of Ukrainian Music” shared “IDEE FIXE” with the audience.
The March evening became a symbolic act of support and gratitude to military musicians who took up arms and continue to defend the Independence of Ukraine.
To support the spirit of Chernihiv residents and city guests, and most importantly, their colleagues – military musicians, military musicians of the Honored Academic Exemplary Band of the Armed Forces of Ukraine arrived together with musicians of the Military Music Center of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Conductors: Colonel Ihor Kishman, Head of the Military Music Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Chief Military Conductor, and Lieutenant Colonel, Deputy Head of the Orchestra, Military Conductor of the Honored Academic Exemplary Band of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The evening’s program featured musical works by military composers Alfred Reed, James Barnes, and Adil Bestibaev.
Admission tickets were traditionally donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular to the 44th Separate Mechanized Brigade, where military musicians of the Military Music Center of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine serve.
