In the summer of 2022, Kateryna Bobrovnyk, whose roots are from Chernihiv region, and who currently lives in Poland, offered her friends the opportunity to share her personal birthday with the children of Chernihiv who had lost one of their parents in the full-scale war.
Together, we celebrated Chocolate Day. Also, at the end of the summer of 2022, with the support of Kateryna, her friends, and the "SUPERHERO" program, it was possible to gather little Chernihiv residents for school.
During the Christmas holidays, children with one wing in Chernihiv are not left unattended. For them: animation programs, trips to the Chernihiv Puppet Theater, travels around the region, and gifts. A trip to the "Beremytske" eco-park.
In 2024, the format of support was transformed into conducting outdoor activities with teenage children who lost one of their parents in the war. Almost for the first time, a sap board riding event was held with the motto "WINGS". In the same year, the logo of the good project appeared, the support of the winged first-graders became unchanged, as well as those who need support, in particular in the form of modern technology.
With the assistance of the WINGS project, support for children expanded its borders, and in the fall of 2024, children from the village of Kolychevka, whose parents defended Ukraine until their last breath, received a tablet, a children's bicycle, an electric scooter, and a backpack.
